Overview

Formational Ventures is fortunate to have as its members highly accomplished and diverse individuals who have demonstrated a continuous drive toward creating new, prosperous futures for themselves and others in business and in a variety of life's endeavors as well.

Addresses

Our members live and work throughout the world.  Examples of places our members call home include: Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing and Tokyo.  Members reside throughout Europe as well, including London, Madrid, Dublin, Munich and Paris.
We live throughout America too in such places as New York, Washington, Seattle, Portland, in Hawaii (both Oahu and the big island), and throughout California, including San Francisco and Palo Alto - the center of Silicon Valley.

Occupations

We are flattered by the fact that several of our members are presently serving as or have been Chief Executive Officers or Managing Directors at numerous public and private companies.  Members have been Chief Financial Officers, Chief Information Officers, and have served in a variety of executive management roles in Operations, Marketing, Sales and Business Development.

Our members are highly technical as well.  Many have led technology developments at their companies in roles such as Chief Technology Officer, Vice President of Engineering, Distinguished Engineer and Senior Architect.

Experiences

Many of our members are entrepreneurs who have naturally experienced both disappointing lows and soaring highs.  Enormous wisdom resides in our membership from   having founded numerous companies, establishing new business divisions and pioneering new markets and channels.
At large multi-national enterprises, our members have been their company’s top sales performers, have formed partnerships in a variety of industries and emerging marketplaces, have earned numerous professional achievement awards and have led their companies through stages of explosive growth and initial public offerings in securities markets such as the NYSE, NASDAQ and others.

Inventiveness

Our members have literally revolutionized entire industries as diverse as Internet communications and the Dairy Industry of Great Britain.
These creative individuals have been granted numerous patents, have invented global communications standards and have established new business models and processes.

Passions

Sometimes it seems as though most of our members are aviators.  Members have night-landed an F14 on the rolling deck of an aircraft carrier, been the first to circumnavigate Australia in their own helicopter to raise money for charity, won international glider racing championships, rallied their own hot-air balloon, and much more.
Aviation isn’t the only passion of our members.  Our membership includes many car enthusiasts and mariners as well, who drive or sail, beautiful machines of all classes of performance in rallies and regattas alike.
Passions are a diverse as our individual members who include a master in the martial art Tae Kwon Do, an award-winning underwater photographer, and a technologist working with an orphanage in China.
